Spanish Wells Community Association
Spanish Wells Residents
Updated September 2022
The Public Safety Committee
We live in a gated community, and consequently access is restricted by our security service to protect the residents and property within Spanish Wells. Guests and vendors entering the community are required present ID at the guard gates and state where they will be visiting or working. This allows the guard staff to know who has permission to be onsite and where
they can be located.
Spanish Wells continues to see increased numbers of vendors requiring access to the community. These vendors include lawn care workers, pool maintenance, painters, food delivery drivers, roofers etc.
The gate hours of service are as follows.
· The main gate is manned 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
· The Marbella gate is not staffed.
· The Cordova gate is manned 8 AM until 4 PM 7 days a week.
Access by guests or vendors outside of these hours is only allowed if they have been issued an appropriate pass. Anyone without a pass and needing access outside the manned gate hours should be directed to the main gate. Vendors are only allowed to work on the property from 7 AM until 6 PM Monday through Saturday. Only emergency services and food services are allowed outside of these hours.
Do not use your vehicle’s barcode to allow someone to follow you onto the property (piggybacking). Do not use a gate pass that has been issued to you to allow unauthorized access for someone else. Both examples are trespassing and pose a possible security risk to other members of the community.
Your cooperation allows for the security and safety for all residents.
Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club Update
With our new normal in full swing, I want to insure you that we have not lost our focus on the proper guidelines to ensure your safe visit to the club. We follow what the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the State mandate. At this time there are no restrictions, and we may operate at full capacity.
We respect that everyone has a different comfort level right now and we ask all members to be respectful of this as well. If we all take personal responsibility and be respectful of others when we are socializing, everyone can enjoy the club activities and stay safe.
Here are a few of the steps the Food & Beverage Department continue to use as standard:
• As a general reminder, if you are not feeling well, please choose another day to visit the club.
• All table condiments are wiped down between table uses with sanitizing solution.
• All menus are laminated and are wiped down between usage.
• Check presenters are wiped down prior to being delivered.
• Chairs and door handles are wiped with sanitizing cloths daily.
• We suggest and prefer member charge to their member account in lieu of cash transactions.
• Hand Sanitizer wall dispensers are available at the bottom and top of the Pub stairwell.
• Hand sanitizer is available at multiple locations throughout dining room and on the bars.
We are very proud of the new dining areas in the club and have taken steps to insure there
continued cleanliness. We have increased housekeeping with a dedicated, detailed minded
staff to a level where the club is closely cared for, and Sanitation remains a high priority.
Here are a few of the steps the Golf Department has been
using:
• Sanitizer in the hall and in the golf shop for staff and customer use.
• Plexi-shields have been installed at each Point Of Sale (POS) station.
We created guidelines and steps that are designed to insure you will have confidence in us.
With common sense and compliance of these guidelines, we feel you will be confident in ourlevel of commitment to the safety and sanitary measures we are taking in the delivery of your golf and dining experience. We are here for you, please come out and enjoy your club.
Sincerely,
General Manager
